What makes Calvono different?

Calvono provides easy access to the most effective hair loss treatments. All visits are conducted by
Dermatologists, with unlimited messaging with your Dermatologist included in the subscription. We
offer a variety of prescription oral and topical medications, all proven to be effective in treating male-
pattern hair loss. In addition, our customer service is top-notch. Our goal is to help you regrow hair as
effectively and pleasantly as possible.

Many other online services for hair loss use non-Dermatologists, sometimes not even physicians, to
conduct the visits. Some provide access to over-the-counter vitamins or “supplements” that lead to
minimal hair growth, if any. We provide access to proven prescription ingredients to treat hair loss. Click
through our website to learn more.

How does this work?

Using Calvono is simple! Once you answer a few screening questions on our website to demonstrate
that you are a suitable candidate for treatment, you will be directed to answer basic questions about
your hair loss and general health. You will also be asked to upload photos of your scalp. You can choose
the type of treatment you prefer from our list of options on the website. Your work is now done! This
will be evaluated by one of our board-certified Dermatologists, and treatment will be prescribed or
recommended. While we do not guarantee that you will be prescribed your choice of treatment, your
Dermatologist will make every effort to prescribe your preferred treatment. The prescription will be
forwarded to one of our partner pharmacies and the medications will be automatically sent to you, with
refills every three months for one year. Simple and discreet!

Are follow up visits required?

For your safety, yearly online follow-ups are required to continue therapy. These visits are as simple as
the first visit and the cost is already included in your subscription.

Who is a good candidate?

Any man with moderate or mild male-pattern hair loss is eligible to use Calvono. As long as your scalp is
not essentially completely bald, our team of dermatologists will be able to connect you with an
appropriate and safe medical therapy. Men with complete baldness may benefit from surgical
treatment, such as hair transplantation. After a transplant, men can often come to Calvono for
ongoing medical maintenance therapy. At this time, Calvono is not geared for women or children.

What will it cost me?

The cost of a Calvono subscription will vary depending on your personalized treatment plan. Some
options range from $29 per month to $89 per month. Remember, these subscriptions do not only
include your personalized medication, but also your dermatologist consultation with unlimited
messaging and access to the amazing Calvono support team.

Will my insurance cover it?

Calvono’s subscription plans are not covered by insurance.

Who are my doctors?

All visits are conducted by Board-Certified Dermatologists, with unlimited messaging with your
dermatologist included in the subscription. Our doctors have vast experience caring for patients both
online and in-person. Their extensive training and expertise in hair loss is unmatched by many other
types of providers.

Are treatments safe?

At Calvono, we understand safety is a top priority for our members. All of the ingredients in our
treatments have been evaluated in peer-reviewed medical journals for both safety and efficacy. Your
dermatologist will help you select the right prescription medication for your personal health situation.

offerings.

I want to switch from one therapy to another, can I do that?

With a Calvono subscription, you have access to unlimited messaging with your dermatologist. If you
feel that you have given your current treatment regimen the appropriate time and are not seeing
changes, or if you interested in upgrading your therapy, please message your dermatologist. Your
doctor with evaluate all options and offer a medically appropriate alternative. Compounded
medications can be further customized if needed. Calvono support staff can adjust your subscription
plan to reflect the new options. Note, depending on the new medication, the price for your treatment
may change. You will be presented with the adjusted cost to approve prior to making any changes.

How long will it take to see results?

Treatment for hair loss requires a minimum of 6 months to see noticeable results. Continued use of
your medication will lead to maximum benefit. Male pattern hair loss is a chronic condition and,
therefore, ongoing therapy is required to maintain results. We have a selection of medications that can
be safely used long term.

How do I ask further questions?

For treatment related concerns, please log into your patient portal and message your dermatologists.
You will receive a response within 1-2 business days.

For order and service-related questions, please email help@calvono.com or call 877-671-1555 between
8am-4pm EST.

Why do I need to purchase a 3-month supply?

Male pattern hair loss is a chronic condition and, therefore, ongoing therapy is needed to maintain
results. None of the treatments work in less than 3 months, and most take 6 months to provide
substantial benefit. Stopping sooner will rob you of the opportunity to see real results. We have a
selection of medications that can be safely used long term.

Can I pause my prescription?

Yes. Please email us at help@calvono.com or call 877-671-1555 between 8am-4pm EST. Please note that
a follow-up consultation will be required with your dermatologist one year after your last visit to
continue therapy. This requirement will not change even if you pause therapy.

Can I get a refund?

Calvono offers connections to physician consultations and prescription medications. Just like all other
physician visits and prescriptions, these are non-refundable. However, you may cancel your subscription
anytime.

What do I do if I received a damaged item?

Please contact Calvono support staff at help@calvono.com with pictures and descriptions of the
damage. If you used one of our partner pharmacies, we will ensure you receive a replacement and
provide directions on how to return the damaged items.

How do I change my shipping address?

Please contact help@calvono.com and our Calvono team members will facilitate and verify an address
change.

What is Calvono?

Calvono, LLC is an online service geared for men suffering with male pattern baldness. Our goal is to
connect highly experienced board-certified dermatologists and top service pharmacies in a convenient
and streamlined manner. We understand that most men have limited time to clear their schedules for
doctor's appointments, discuss their conditions in an often unwelcoming environment, and then
proceed to a retail pharmacy filled with long lines and possibly poor customer service.

Our solution puts proven and cutting-edge medical treatments in the hands of patients in a discreet
fashion via direct to home mail.

Subscribing to a Calvono treatment plan ensures you have unlimited access to your dermatologist
and ongoing therapy to keep your hair growing.

Who founded Calvono?

Drs. Jamie Altman, MD and Gopal Patel, MD are board-certified dermatologists, who are business
partners in their brick-and-mortar Dermatology practice outside of Philadelphia. They realized that in-
person visits to their office were requiring a significant cost and time-commitment for men who just
wanted their hair to grow back.

Drs. Altman and Patel created Calvono to deliver the best of both worlds – the convenience of an online
consultation with the knowledge and experience of board-certified dermatologists. They then added in
the ability to send an unlimited number of messages to your personal dermatologist any time, without
the need to schedule appointments or make office visits.

When considering starting this business, Drs. Altman and Patel were very surprised to see that some
other companies treating hair loss online were using non-Dermatologists to conduct the virtual visits.
Sometimes the visits were not even being performed by physicians at all. Knowing the significant
training Dermatologists receive in specifically treating different forms of hair loss (also called alopecia),
they decided they would only have the visits conducted by Dermatologists, and, of course, only offer
truly effective ingredients in their products.
